should the answers (radio button checked) be Yes or No for show author's meta description and title tag?

1A) If config radion button was "yes" what is the possible impact? Would it generate duplicate meta descriptions?

This question is a bit beyond our scope. ACESEF is a third party extension and, while we try to help if know the answers, I just have not had an occasion to use that one.

I did search their documentation, but didn't find anything specific on that topic. The people that know that extension the best are the people that wrote it. They should know their product.

You could always install a test site, or even two, and then try it out and see what difference there is between them. A test site will show you exactly what happens and you can experiment.

If you do find out, I hope you'll share your experience on the forum. Others probably have the same question.

I heard back from support at ACESEF their answer was that the edits must be done on the specific article page using the ACESEF interface and general config has no impact.
