Hi,

After reading you blog www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/joomla-3/ I still have some questions.
1. I hear/read different versions of the end of the support for Joomla 1.5. In my opinion it ends this september, correct?
2. I was talking to a fellow website developper and he was saying that 2.5 is not stable yet. In my opinion it is stable. What is your opinion?
3. Is it correct that migrating from 1.5 to 2.5 is a major step (migration) and that from 2.5 to 3 should be fairly easy?
4. In general, what is your advise when you still have a 1.5 website; when at the latest should you migrate to 2.5?

Yes, corect.
2. I was talking to a fellow website developper and he was saying that 2.5 is not stable yet. In my opinion it is stable. What is your opinion?

It absolutely is. The website developer is talking nonsense :)
3. Is it correct that migrating from 1.5 to 2.5 is a major step (migration) and that from 2.5 to 3 should be fairly easy?

1.5 to 2.5 is still a big jump if you have a large site, but 2.5 to 3 will be much easier.
4. In general, what is your advise when you still have a 1.5 website; when at the latest should you migrate to 2.5?

Yes, I would. That's actually our plan for OSTraining.com. 2.5 has a lot of life left in it and from there it will be easy to move to 3.
Ask. We'll help. It's as simple as that.

You're welcome Maurice.

I'll try and include those questions and answers in the next blog post we do about J3. I'm sure you're not the only one wondering.
