Okay, I used Chronoforms to create a registration form. But, if I try to register with a username that already exists...then I get this [see attached image].

It turns the e-mail address into java script...
Blessings,
~Anita

Hi Anita,

1) What Joomla version are you using?
2) What Chronoform version are you using?
3) Have you tried contacting Chronoform's developers about the issue?

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Anita,

2) Which RC version of Chronoforms 4 are you using? Make sure you have the latest RC 3.4.1

Kind regards,
Nick

I was using 3.3. I just upgraded to 3.4.1. But it's still doing the same thing.

~Anita

Hi Anita,

2) Great! At least, we have the latest version installed now.
3) OK, it looks to be a bug with the latest version of Choroform. Could you try contacting their developers to get the bug fixed?

Kind regards,
Nick

Hi Heart0/Anita,

I guess that you are using a plugin to "hide" email address and this plugin also convert your email to javascript to "hide" email. Can you put all content of this javascript?

Regards,
Thanh

I contacted the developers of Chronoforms...and they said it was because the E-mail Cloaking Plugin is enabled in Joomla...which is causing the java script to appear. So, I disabled that plugin...and now it works!
Blessings,
~Anita

Hi Anita,

Glad to hear they figured out what the issue is. Although, that's not the best solution. Are you using a module to embed the form in an article or are you using a Chronoform menu item? We might be able to disable the email cloaker just for that page.

Kind regards,
Nick

The homepage isn't an article. I'm calling the module in the template...

I can change the order of the plugins, right? They did say that I could re-order them so that the chronoforms plugin works before the e-mail cloaking and that would probably fix it too. How exactly do I do that?
Blessings,
~Anita

Hi Anita,

Click the order column in plugin manager then you can use the arrows or numbers.

Kind regards,
Nick

Hmmm.... it already has Chronoforms appearing above the e-mail cloaking. And chronoforms says 0 and e-mail cloaking says 1.

Make the email cloaking a ridiculously large number so it comes it absolutely last. There may be other plugins that are 0 or 1 as well that are causing a different conflict.

Good morning!

Okay, I did that... but still didn't work. E-mail address would still get the java script in it...

So, I just disabled the plugin again and it works now...
Blessings,
~Anita
