Hello everyone,

I have a client that would like to know who is signing in to Joomla! 2.5 website while the site is off-line. As you know, when you take a Joomla site off-line in the backend, it then requires admin to login to access the site, at the front end.

Does anyone know if there is a way to track that login activity when people with superuser status have signed in?

As always, I really appreciate your help.

Will Heine

Hi Wheine,

I think JSecure is able to do this. When I view the log, it tells me all the IP addresses that log into the administrator panel.

Tessa,

That looks like a great extension. Do you know if it would track, someone entering a site that is offline, after they log in through the front end?

We have investors accessing the site by typing in the URL and using a demo user name and password for the purpose of looking at the site, but not having the site live.

Thank you for your thoughts on this.

Will

Hi wheine

Two more options for you here.

One on Joomla 2.5: www.joomlatools.eu/products/logman

One on Joomla 1.5: dioscouri.com/joomla-extensions/scout-activity-logger
Ask. We'll help. It's as simple as that.

Hi Wheine,

As Steve suggested, Logman seems like the extension you are looking for.

I might have to give it a try as well.

Good luck. :-)
