If you have the domain name registered and the dns pointed to the server, then the domain name will resolve instead of the ip address. This isn't a feature of Joomla unless you hardcoded the ip address into the site everywhere. Contact your webhost, they should be able to help you. Let us know if you have problems. Cheers, Ed
