go in the "Template Manager" and click on "Templates" next to styles, look for your template and either edit the css (to the right of the template) or php (below the template)

Hi and welcome, Jew_Nabi!

Sorry, but your question is not very clear to me. Could you add some more detail or provide some screenshots / example links? Thanks in advance!

By the way, what Joomla version are you using?

Kind regards,
Nick

Hellow Jew_Nabi,

What are you trying change. The way it looks or the pages they are linked to?

Are they links supposed to go to different pages?

Inicio goes to a category blog page, which will show all the pages inside that category, which is why you see the contact form when you click it.
Inicio link goes to - milindomexico.com/mlm/

Cantactenos is linked to a single page which contains the contact form.
Contactenos link goes to - milindomexico.com/mlm/contact-us.html

If you are trying to change the links to go to different pages, you should review our Joomla 1.5 course video www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml...inner/site/the-menu/

If that is not what you need, please try to explain a little more so we can understand the change you are trying to make.

Cheers,
Ed

I'm not sure what this is "aclsfgpl" What is the actual name of the component you added that has this file in it? I couldn't find an extension with this name in the Joomla Extension directory. Can you give me a link to it?

You may not be able to link to it directly if it is a plugin. When you create a menu item, is there a menu item type for this component?

Hello Edandrea,
Thanks you, Yes you are right this is a link to Menu item. At present In the Inicio and contactenos menus inside in both menu item link shows index.php?option=com_alfcontact , But I think it should be different in inicio menu item link index.php?option=com_aclsfgpl.
Still I can't change this on that place. How can I do this. How can I change menu item link. Please give me the direction.

We have two videos that explain how to link to create links. Have you seen these two?

www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml...inking-to-a-article/

www.ostraining.com/courses/session/jooml...s/linking-to-a-blog/

In admin go to Menus > click the name of the menu > click the name of the menu item you want to change.
Choose the menu type.

It looks like you are using a classifieds plugin. When you choose the menu type there is probably a section on the pop up window with choices for the pages specific to the plugin. (look at the first video which will show you how to access the menu type.)

If you want to put a custom link there that you write yourself, you would choose External Link for the menu type, then you could type in anything you want.

Are you having trouble with the basic procedure or is the link just not working as you expect? Let me know if this helps.

Cheers,
Ed

Hey Ed,
I tried and got it from the selection of menu items. Now I'm trying to add a drop-down-menu in the page of another menu. Please look my website and click on Publicque Un Clasificado then click on Actividades look at this layout. I've to put
another drop-down-menu of US States beside Estados drop-down-menu. I don't know how can I do this. Please figure it out and tell me.
Thanks in advance for cooperation.

If the program won't allow you to add an extra field, you will need to modify the template for the plugin to add an additional dropdown menu to the same form. You may also need to make a new table in the database. This is beyond what I can help you to do.

It will help if you take the HTML, CSS and PHP courses we have though.

The answer will be in the documentation for the extension, or you might have to contact the creators for the answer. This isn't part of Joomla, it's specific to the extension.

Hello Ed,

As your suggestion I'm learning those through your online class. But I have an idea for my problem solution. Is it possible if I see through firebug of my website drop-down-menu code and copy this? How can I paste in back-end side Joomla in that proper place? Please advise me.

Then may be I could change the drop-down-menu form name and insert new data.

Is it possible please suggestion.

This is not like a mail script in an HTML site. The form information is processed by the plugin.
<form action='http://milindomexico.com/mlm/index.php?option=com_aclsfgpl&Itemid=1&ct=commun1&md=submitad' method='post' ENCTYPE='multipart/form-data' name='f'>

The plugin takes the information and writes it to the data base, it doesn't just put it into an email and send it to you like a simple form script.

There are ways for you to paste the dropdown into the page, but you would not be able to get any data because the classified ad program would not know what to do with it.

Look at the documentation for the classified program and see if it allows you to create extra fields. If it does not allow extra fields, the only thing you can do is modify the program. You would need a programmer to do it. You can't do it with Joomla or simple html.

You need to ask the developer if this is possible or hire a programmer to write the modification for you. It is not a simple task that can be handled by changing the template or design.

Everything in Joomla is database driven. If you are going to collect information from a form, there needs to be a place for it in the database.

I could be wrong, but I think this is the website of the company that makes that program www.ads-programming.com/acj/ Try their website for help.

Cheers,
Ed
