Hi there,
I've downloaded and installed a module, and made sure to enable it. I also selected which articles I'd like it to show up on Yet I can't figure out where to go from there to get the module to show up on my site. This is the module: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-...uery-slideshow/18277
And this is their demo site: demo.autson.com/index.php?option=com_con...rticle&id=7&Itemid=9
Their demo site shows how to edit the parameters for the module, but when I click on the module page in the module manager, something different shows up. Also, when I go to components, nothing is listed.

I feel like I'm missing a big step here, that's probably pretty simple!

Thanks for your help,
Rachel

Hi
Have you downloaded the correct version for your site? as it is a module I would not expect it to appear under Components.
You say that when you click on the module "something different shows up"; what do you mean?
I would expect that after you have clicked on the module you should see the parameters and you should also be able to allocate a position and select the menu.
I noticed on JED that it does contain hidden backlinks to their web development site. Is there a particular reason that you want to use this slide show?
Regards
Mark

Thanks for your reply. I don't like the idea of hidden backlinks at all. I think I'm going to uninstall. I can't believe I missed that! I chose this slide show because it was free, looked good, and had good reviews that said it was simple to use. Do you have any suggestions for another one? Thanks for your help!
