Hi Everyone,
I have a health related website where I display links to the personal blogs of about 20 or so people.
Up until now, I've not bothered to enter any metadata for my sites because for numerous reasons I was not ready to promote them.
But now, starting with this - my blog website - I'd like to.
I understand that I need to add meta titles and meta descriptions but I'm a little confused as to what exactly these should best be, for each individual site.
Hope someone can please provide me some assistance here.

Have you looked at this www.ostraining.com/courses/class/joomla15/j15-seo/ ?
I know it is for 1.5 but exactly the same principles apply.
It is such a big topic its not easy to answer in a post - these are also loads of good articles on the web.
