Hi Tessa, Thanks for the link, but I have already been to that page. That is where I originally got my key. I am looking for the site where I can access controls for this existing key which is being used on my site.
I haven't forgotten my original API Key. I have it. I don't recall how I got it originally - if I was required to use a user ID and Password to get the original key and the website where I can go to revisit this key. I have read that you can change where this Key will be accepted by either adding more urls, or restricting the key to only specific subdomains or even single web pages. This is what I would like to find - access my controls for this original API key.... and if by chance, I used a completely different user ID which I can no longer remember, how to contact Google to access the account again.
Also, for different questions, could you post in a new thread to make it easy for us to answer? :-) Thank you. :P
Tessa, by this do you mean different than those of original post? Or are you saying that I am putting to many questions into one post? I try to keep related questions together but I can change this if necessary - only one per post if you all prefer.
In my original post I basically asked 3 questions (albeit a bit wordy as usual)
- Where can I find my existing api key on web (not sign up for new)
- OST's recommendation on using v3 (NO API KEY?) or stay with v2 (with API)?
- Comment on Google now charging for this - is this new?
Thanks
Scott
