In many of my Joomla sites (1.5 to 2.5) I display the create date in the blog post articles. Then often display the time, like:

Created on Tuesday, 19 June 2012 10:08

My clients don't need the time displayed. I use JCE. How can I get rid of the time?

Hello Hope,

You can go into article options or menu article options and change the Creation Date set to Hide.

I want the DATE to show, but not the TIME.

Go to Extensions > Language Manager
Click the Overrides tab
Search for DATE_FORMAT
Create an override for the one you want to change. Delete the time symbol.
