Okay, I'm using Aceshop and completely locked myself out of being able to access the admin section. LOL. How in the world did I do that. Only me! lol.

Anyways, I contacted the help desk and this is what they said...and they sent me that attached pic.

"Make a clean install with Aceshop 1.3.1 import #_aceshop_user_group table to your broken page. Permissions will be fixed via phpmyadmin."

I logged in to the database and found "srgf6_aceshop_user_group" but I guess I don't understand how to "Make a clean install with Aceshop 1.3.1 import #_aceshop_user_group table to your broken page".

Any thoughts?
Blessings,
~Anita

Hi Heart0,

Do you have the "clean" aceshop user group .sql file that you need to import?

Basically if you import a SQL script, it will magically create a database table with values filled in (if in the script).

Another thought, since it's just one section you need to overwrite, you could just fix this by copying/pasting the original values of the permissions into the permissions field of that table.
Warm Regards,

hmm... ummm.... I don't think I do? How do I get that? Would the file be in the zip file that I would install as an extension? Or is that something I need to get from them?? Or I guess I could ask them to just send me the original values... right?

Hi Heart0,

So what steps did you take so far?

I understand how to do this, but I'm not sure what order they are trying to explain.

Do you need to import your new user group table? Or are you trying to import the old user groups table?

Did you make a clean install?
Warm Regards,

Tessa Mero

Hi Heart,

I've read that "email" by aceshop several times trying to uncode what he/she is asking for.

I am guessing you make an install of aceshop on another site? Export the aceshop user table and then import it on your site? (just copying the "values" will accomplish the same thing).

If I was in your situation, I would ask the tech support person to reclarify what he/she is saying, because it isn't clear at all. :-)

Hey girl - thank you! I just did that and it worked! I installed aceshop on another site, logged into phpadmin and just copied the values and pasted into the other one. and WALA! :) I'm now back in :)

Good work! It's all so simple when you know how :) and now you do. Hopefully that won't come up again, but you've got a new skill under your belt.

Cheers,
