i set Firefox as my default browser, for using WAMP. I installed joomla 2.5
When I go to extension manager, and choose an extension to upload/install, the little circle of firefox just keeps going round and round until i finally get an error - page was reset.

But if I go to Chrome, log in tomy localhost, I can upload/install all the extensions immediately.

Any insights to help?

This might be unrelated but I had trouble with firefox last weekend. It would load any page as normal but would not link to joomla.org - I was convinced that their site was down. After I discovered the problem the suggested solution is to clear browser history and cache which did not work for me. I eventually used Ccleaner to clear all the history etc within firefox and that worked.
