Hi all,

I am following a tutorial that shows how to embed code into an article to get module showing inside an article. I have actually copied and pasted the article text [along with code] directly from developer's demo site into my article, created a module following same settings as on demo site but for some reason, the code does not show the module. I see all of the text except for the code.

Is there by chance some setting within JCE or Joomla config that is preventing my editor from showing me this module in my article? I am reviewing JCE tutorials now but up to this point, haven't found anything.

UPDATE: Figured it out - I had left the "module suffix" field empty.. I did not know that in creating these new modules this module suffix field is what links to the "loadposition" commmand in the article.... learning as I go...

PS: I read that if you type code while editor is in text mode and not html mode, it will not be recognized as code front end... can you confirm this?

re:p.s.. No, that's not correct. Sometimes Editors do strip out code though. Check out this tutorial:

I read that one the other day and I already have JCE and I installed Sourcerer and Snippets as well.
