Hello all!, can you please provide options, joomla templates that may help me creating a site that holds sub stores in it? (Kind of ebay)

NOTE: this is a school project so it may be a pretty small site.

PROJECT:

1. There should be at least 3 Stores in my site.
2. each store should display its products by categories (at least 3)
3. each category should display the products (at least 5)
4. products should be arranged by brands (at least 3) and amount available.
5. shopping cart
6. Hope you get the idea...

So, the website will look like this:

WEBSITE --> STORES ---> CATERGORIES ---> PRODUCTS ---> BRANDS ---> PRODUCT DETAIL ---> AMOUNT AVAILABLE ---> ADD TO CART.

I honestly doesnt have much time to make this (about 1 month or so) so im wondering if there is a joomla template for this type of sites.

Thanks so much!

You could possibly use Virtuemart for this. You can use categories or manufacturers as substores or departments. It kind of depends on how integrated each store has to be.

You can apply a different template to each section with Joomla because multiple templates are easy to assign.

Check those and let us know if it's on the right track.

Cheers,
Ed

Hi
For an alternative suggestion try www.ecwid.com/
It is a hosted solution that does integrate with Joomla. Hope that I am not confusing you with a different answer - I believe that it is easier to set up - on the other hand you will learn more using Virtuemart.
Regards
Mark

Hi Ivan,

Hikashop is another excellent option. Here's our tutorial on it:
