I have 2 different templates on one of my sites. Is there a way to create separate menus for each?

Tessa, I don't think this tutorial gives me the steps I'm looking for. Here's what my two templates look like
1: williejolley.com/
2: williejolley.com/ytm-teleseminar-3-school-for-start-ups

I'd like to create a completely different main menu for template #2. Any suggestions?

Hi Cheryl,

If I understand what you want to do, I think you would need to make separate versions of each page. Maybe you could explain a little more.

Are you using the same content, you just want a the look to be consistent? Or do you want completely different content for the "green" template.

Give us a little more insight.

Cheers,
Ed

Thank Ed. I want to use completely different content for the "green" template. It's already created via my default template.

Hi Cheryl,

In that case I would create pages for the new content. Assign the green template to the new pages.

Then create a new menu module and assign it to green pages. Make sure the blue menu module is not assigned to any green pages. Look in the module configuration and you'll see where you can choose which pages the menu module will appear on.

I think this is what you want to do. Let me know.

Cheers,
Ed

Hi Ed,

I managed to create the new menu for the green pages, but for some reason, the home page I have set up for the green menu keeps linking to the home page on my blue menu. Any suggestions?

Nevermind. I figured it out: I had to rename that homepage something other than 'home.' Thanks everyone for your help on this!

Hi Cheryl,

Good job figuring it out. Sometimes it's the simplest things that hold us up. Really glad we could help.

Cheers,
Ed
