Hi Sronald_76,

Is your article enabled? :-)

What does your error reporting say when you access that page?

Here is a quick tutorial on that:

Hi Ronald,

This is strange.

Could you send me login credentials to tessafenwick at gmail dot com so I could take a quick look?

And post here when you have done this.

Thank you.

Hi Ronald,

Didn't realize you were using Joomla 1.0, so it was a bit different for me.

However, I did made a few changes to your site and every single page is working now.

First, I turned off Site cache (you can turn it back on).
That way you can see changes taken effect immediately.

Second, I changed Use Apache mod_rewrite to NO.

For this to work you will have to copy your htaccess.txt file in your FTP to .htaccess.

This was the reason why all your pages were broken.
Warm Regards,

And one more thing, not sure if you know this already, but none of the links from your top menu are going to work since none of them have an article attached to it. :-) I'm sure you are aware of this though. :-)

Besides the point, I am including a few great tutorials on changing your htaccess file:

I have 2 domains. one domain is to practice and the other domain is my real website (this website is done). I am using joomla v 1.5 on both sites and i still don't want to upgrade my second website to 2.5. That is why, i would like to know if my second website will still be up even if i install joomla 2.5

Hi Ronald,

You are very welcome. :-)

Do you plan on trying to upgrade your practice site to Joomla 2.5? You should check on all your extensions and see if they are compatible or if they have an upgraded version as well. :-)

Where is your practice site located? The same domain in a sub directory or in a sub domain?

hi tessa
my business site (second domain) is in a subfolder of the primary, the second domain is just an addon . that's what tech support told me from my host company.

Hi Ronald,

If you want to set up a 2.5 site to practice the upgrade, you will be setting it up in a completely new directory, so it won't affect the original site. It will have it' own data base and not be connected to the original in any way so you can create the upgrade any time you want, and after it's working perfectly, move it to your main directory to replace the 1.5 site.

Does that answer your question? Let us know.

Ed
