I want to list all the articles in a particular category. I've organized that category into five subcategory. Which menu type do I use when selecting an option that will display all articles in the subcategories? Currently, i have my blog menu items set to Category-Blog, but the articles only show up if I select one of the subcategories. Thus only articles in that subcategory are being listed on my blog page.

Hi debtfreedivas,

Have the menu item be of type "Category List". Then for the Category Options of the menu item, set "Subcategory Levels" to "All".

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Nick

I'm sorry. It was already set to Category->List with the Subcategory level already set to All. Any other ideas? The message says there are no articles in that main level category. Could it be something in how I have the categories structured?

Hi debtfreedivas,

Go to your admin area >> content >> category manager >> do you have the subcategories set up under the parent category the way you'd like them to be?

Kind regards,
Nick

Looks like the categories are setup correctly. I've attached a screen shot.

I ended up use the featured article menu type and just setting columns to 1. Do you think there's a bug? Because the category list and category blog didn't work when I set the category to News (the parent category).
