Hi there!

So I've tried every way to Sunday to solve this problem but to no avail. Okay so on the backend, when I create an article the background where input the data is black. Not just black, but very much mirrors the template background. Makes entering data hard when I can barely see what I'm typing. I tried changing the template and re-uploading, I even created a template with an almost white background and still, it's black. I tried finding the edits in the css but wasn't able to fix it. This is the first time I've encountered this issue. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Update: Okay so it's definitely the template. I made a lighter template the default and the background is showing on the backend where I input data for my articles. I'd like to go back to the original template but how can I fix it so the background doesn't show on the backend?

This issue sounds to me like a CSS override. Something else is taking precedence of the background color.

If you can put this on a live server, I would love to view your code and find a solution for you! :-D

What Joomla version are you using?

Hey Nick, I'm using J! 2.5 and as for the JCE, I'm using 2.1.3 version.
