Thanks for the team. This is fixed. Next I want to show the article names in the url and number the numbers. How do I change it?.

Hi Pradheep,

What Joomla version are you using?


Do you have URL Rewriting and Search Engine friendly URL's set to Yes in global configurations?

Did you recheck your "alias" name for the article in the article manager? Which is what would show up in your URL.

Do you have URL Rewriting and Search Engine friendly URL's set to Yes in global configurations?

1. Search Engine Friendly URLs is already set to Yes

2. Use URL rewriting - No

It is strange as soon as I put yes for number 2 , then the site is not accessible. When I put no, the site url works. so what should I do?

Hi Pradheep,

In your FTP rename your htaccess.txt fold to .htaccess

Does this work?
