I am using rokgallery extension from rocket theme in the show case image.

I would like to have an image with video and when i click on the video it should open like an popup. I have attached a picture like what i want.

Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

It looks like you are looking for a modalizer extension:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/style-a...opups-a-iframes/4277

This allows you to turn any links into a pop up window.

You can edit your rokgallery extension to place this link over your image to obtain this styling.

You'd have to find the div that the rok gallery image is placed in, and create a new div with an img in it. I'm guessing it would require some code editing/knowledge.

After that when they click on the image it it possible to play the video.

We don't have access to the RokGallery plugin to answer these questions for you. Some of this is covered in the RokGallery documentation. www.rockettheme.com/extensions-joomla/rokgallery

They have their own forum for this, and RocketTheme does their own support.

I'm not so sure you want to use RokGallery for this. It's really designed for still images not for movies. It would be easier to simply put a picture in the module using the normal image component in the editor, then linking it to the the video.

You may also want to look into video players and video galleries instead of photo galleries for a solution. Here's a tutorial we did on AllVideos that might give you some ideas.
