hi

I try to create an mp3 gallery with soundmanager on this page olajola.mobicloud.be/casa but no player is visible. In content type, the manage display setting is set to soundmanager. I also installed the libraries files from the soundmanager site.

I also tried jplayer, the player shows up but when hitting the play button, nothing happens.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Or maybe another solution?

Are you using D6 or D7?

Do you have streaming audio on your server?

Where are the audio files coming from? Are you using a service or accessing them from your server?

my client has several mp3 files which he just wants to upload and show them on his website.
The visitor of the site can hit the play, pause and stop button. Nothing more,nothing less.

If Jplayer is showing, but not playing, it may be taking a long time to download. You may have to convert the sound files to a different format.

I used audiofield module, installed wordpress standalone player and this works nicely.

But there's one problem: the player doesn't work with iPhone or iPad because of Flashplayer.

Is there a way to bypass this problem?

Hi Kris,

Yes, by not using flash :)

You'd have to use a player that's HMTL5 and has flash-fallback. HTML5 would allow it to play in an iPhone and an iPad.

I know jplayer has that capability. You mentioned that you had trouble getting it to play. Would you like to keep troubleshooting that?
