How to add 'subscription number' in the resistration form?(Drupal6) 11 months 1 week ago #51095

Hello!

I am using Drupal6.
A registration form in my website has name, email, address.
I need to add 'subscription number' ,which is a five-number digit, in the registration form. How can I do?

P.S. I could do in Drupal7 :administer/Configuration/people/Account Setting

Hi Mariana,

You need to enable the core profile module within the module area and then configure it in in admin >> settings >> profile. Within there you'll be able to add the fields that you'd like.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Nick

Thank you!

I did what you said and I created fields in admin >> user management >> profiles. However, when I configured the registration form as a block( in admin >> site building >> block), the new fields that I created does not appear.
The block body is like this:

<p><strong><font color="#990000">Are you a current subscriber to the printed magazine?
Click <a href="www.livingcitymagazine.com/user/register">HERE</a> to have full access!</font></strong>
</p>

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Mariana,

You're welcome! :)

Which fields did you create? Did you make sure to clear your cache afterward?

Is the following URL the page in question? www.livingcitymagazine.com/user/register

Kind regards,
Nick

I created 'First name, Last name, subscriber ID' field in admin >> user management >> profiles.
Yes, that URL is the registration page.

I cleaned cache but I cannot see any change.

What do you think?
