I've increased my php memory limit but am still getting php memory errors on jevents page loads:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 335544320 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/hills/public_html/templates/course/index.php on line 28

I have joomla 1.5.25. Jevents has recommeded a de-bugging in joomla 2.5 - not much help to me at the moment.

I increased the memory_limit once and the problem went away. But now the problem will not go away, even after increasing the php memory to 500MB or more.

The problem seems to relate to some sort of accumulation of page loads - as it only happens after repeated page loads. Any thoughts on how I can solve this?

I personally haven't seen this happen before. I'll check into it.

Do you have all cacheing turned off and have you got any type of compression like gzip?

Do you have any javascripts or slide shows or anything that are loading.

I don't think it is any of those things. All my component profiles show normal memory loads.

I have a feeling it has to do with my recent php upgrade on my server - maybe I have an older joomla php config that is causing a problem?

got it figured out - just had to disable some jomsocial plugins and modules which I think were conflicting with CB
