Joomla User Authentication Recommendation

Beyond Default Joomla User Authentication
I'm using Registration Validator (for security) as you previously recommend.

However, I would also like to improve the user experience in registering and logging-in.

The default Joomla user registration messages are not very user-friendly (attached example) and sometimes confusing to the average new user.

What authentication extension/module/plugin would you recommend?
