Introduction and Installing Joomla on a WAMP Server

Using different folders for sites on WAMP Server Hi,
I have just joined to start learning about Joomla! I've started the Beginner course and am now on Session 8. first let me say that I am enjoying the training - it is clear, well thought out and sufficiently detailed even for me to understand! Well done!
As a complete newbie I apologize if the question is silly or really simple - All your help is appreciated!
To my question - I have installed a WAMPServer and 4 different project folders for different sites. Do I need to install Joomla into each folder each time? and set up different databases? for Folder A, B, C and D - each is to be a separate website?
How do I go about adding a template to Joomla?
