Joomla Mass Content and K2

can i use both? Hey guys, love the new online training. In one section, you mentioned 2 extensions that you really enjoy (Mass Content and K2)

My understanding of K2 is that it doesn't use sections, only categories. So, I'm wondering is it even possible to setup a new Joomla site using Mass Content, then add K2?
