I We spoke about putting a contact form in my offline.php page so that when the site was down for maintenance, people would still be able to contact me.

I found the CSS and styled the form, but where do I put the script. I

tried making offline.php the action for the form, but I get a plug-in error.

Can someone tell me how I can accomplish this?

Do I need a plug-in? I know this is an advanced question, but my client really wants this. Thanks for your help.
