Background: I'm getting a totally blank white page when I click the icon in the Menu Items column. No text, no graphics and no menu tree. The same thing happens if I select Menu | mainmenu .

I can see all my other menu items such as "othermenu", "topmenu" and so on. If I click the radio button for mainmenu,and click Edit, I get a page. It's just when I need to edit an entry on the menu, this problem occurs.

The menu shows on the site and works. within the Menu Manager area, I can also see 35 published items.

At first, I was thinking since I added sh404SEF, maybe it did something but if I disable the component the problems remains. I also cleared the site cache.

I went into the myPHPAdmin and looked at the jos_menu table and it is populated. I also did the function to repair and optimize, but it didn't make a difference.

Any ideas?
