I am working on my local machine (a Macbook). I'm on version 1.5.14 I'm sure that the problem has something to do with permissions somehow...but here's what happens. When I go into install/uninstall and find the file and then hit "upload and install" I get this message:

* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* Module Install: Failed to create directory.: "/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/Joomla/modules/mod_slideshow"

I have gone through every folder possible and given "read/write" to admin.

What do I need to do to resolve this!
