I uploaded and installed a component called Sobi2 to a site that I manage (hosted remotely).

Unfortunately, I forgot to check that the FTP server was off, so when it installed I got the message that it could not delete the installation files. I thought it better to start again, so I tried to unstall the component, which it seemed to do albeit with an error message.

However, when I now try to reinstall the function, I get an error message:

Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/var/www/vhosts/localgovernmentlawyer.co.uk/httpdocs/components/com_sobi2"

However, if I look in the components section of the extension manager, the component is not there to uninstall. How can I remove it from the directory so that I can install it properly?
