As I mentioned before in one of my many questions, the site I am responsible for was set up by an outside source, who also hosts it, before I came on the scene.

 

During my rather pithy training with them (they aren't really all that familiar with Joomla beyond the very basics) I asked about the possibility of having a "dummy site" to try things on before sending it out to the world.

I was told that wasn't possible.

Is there a way I can set one up in spite of what they say?
