I just had Joomla installed through cpanel but the only version offered was 1.5.15, so I went and found the 1.5.15 to 1.5.20 patch, extracted the files in a folder to upload via FTP, now my question is, do the files just overwrite and all is well or will any of the user and pw info change with the patch or other info I need to reset?

This is a brand new install, no site info in it yet so I feel all is well with no backup necessary at this point.

Anything I need to know, this is my first update patch to install.
