A Joomla 1.5 site I run for a teacher union allows members to access a curriculum planning system product from within the member area. This planner is a built into a site that requires a second log in (it is a drupal site). Members find it annoying to have to log in a second time and have issues remembering two usernames/passwords.

The creators of this site have asked if I could use the GET variable to capture their username and pass it on through a hyperlink which points to their site, they could use that to load the correct user profile and thus bypass the second log in.

I've been searching but have no idea how to do this.

Does anyone have an idea of that I should do?
