I'm looking into the best way to do a job bank. Applicants will NOT apply for jobs through the site, or even submit emails through the site, so I don't need any kind of application form. I just need a way to list jobs, and have people click through for details.

So far, I've looked at the free version of Job Grok, which seems somewhat buggy (the parameters don't seem to work for all jobs, so you need to change parameters for each).

The simplest thing would be to set up a regular Joomla category and a menu link to a category list - but I'd like to be able to have some filter/search capability, and the ability to display the company name and/or location in the headings.

What other options do I have? Would K2 work well for this? If I use K2, can I use it only for this part of the site, or is it going to 'take over' the whole site? I've looked briefly at the other job listing components, but they seem like overkill since I don't need people to post jobs or apply for jobs through the site.
