I want to build a new joomla web site for a person who already has a non-Joomla poor web site which is hosted on GoDaddy.

She is not happy with her basic site. She has no problems with GoDaddy, but I keep seeing issues on this forum when people try to install or use Joomla on GoDaddy.

I have never used GoDaddy. I use a different hosting company with Joomla for my sites and I am very happy with them. Loading Joomla and getting started takes minutes. So do I try to talk her into changing hosting companies, so that I can easily create a new site for her?

Will it be easy to migrate her domain away from GoDaddy to another site? Or should I stick with her godaddy account?

I'm not asking you to tell me which company to be loyal to. I am new to this web site stuff and concerned about getting myself into something that is over my head.
