SEF URLS - When activated my site pages dont load

Hi Steve,

I haven't yet got this function to work and it is obviously a very important part of site builds.

When i activate it in the global configurations the pages go blank and wont load. I have tried a couple of variations with and without the htaccess file being activated, but nothing seems ot work. I am on a linux server...

Any idea what i'm doing wrong as it seems from your tutorial that it should be very straight forward to get working...
