You recommended that we don't paste text directly from MS Word into Joomla because it bring with it unnecessary codes. I noticed a command button on the TinyMCE WYSIWIG editor called "Clean up messy code". Does using this command solve the problem? If not, what is it used for?

In addition to Notepad and Wordpad, is Open Office Writer a good word processor for transferring content to Joomla?

And what about spreadsheet content? Does Excel also leave messy code? How about Lotus 1-2-3 or Open Office's spreadsheet?

Does Joomla accept pasting of both tables and graphics from a spreadsheet program?
