for quite some time before I found it here. It worked fine.

After reading about SEF extensions, I paid for sh404sef, and installed it. Immediately, the site went down with "403 Forbidden" error. The only way to solve this was to uninstall the component. Disabling it wouldn't work.

The site worked for a bit after that, but it was quirky. Then, without warning, I cannot log into the back end. I read your article http://www.ostraining.com/newsletters/joomla/change-your-joomla-database-login/, and that didn't work. I also found an article (that I can't relocate) here that had me create another user login in My PhP Admin, and this was of no use either.

Is there some other way to get back in to the back end of this site? I'll send you whatever info you need to help me out. The site is supposed to go live next week, and I'm hoping there's another solution.
