i am getting a 404 error when i try to create an account at my site

i also notice that my page design template (?dont know proper terminolgy yet) is missing on several pages.

the first page of my website is live. This gives you an idea of what the pages sghould look like

imtrying to learn joolma after the guy who developed it for me deserted me. any help would be appreciated.

i know this has something to do with global congifuration. my SEO settings are yes, no, no... have never changed that so not sure the cause.
