I work for a construction company and I am looking build a plan room which is a site where subcontractors, home owners and others can come to and look at building plans, specs, photos and just general project information. They should also be able to download the plans so they can quote jobs for us.

Here are a few items that are important:

- the site needs to be password protected with certain access rights(i dont think thats a problem with Joomal)

- Each project would have to have their own space for all the job related info, documents and photos can be placed for each job.

- i would like to know who downloads files ie. plans; so for instance the client changes the plans I can then notify the subs via email who actually downloaded the original plans of the update.

- the ability of certain registered users to be able to up load files for a particular project from the front end.

- some Plan file can be quite large usually pdf's 20-40mb's in size so the extension would have to accomadate that.

I think those are my main concerns and there may not be an exact match out there for what I am looking for, but I was just hoping you may have came accross something that may work over time and you could point in certain direction to look.
