I just installed a Rocket Theme template named Crystalline. It appears that in the template manager I get a Gantry template error. The administrator/template/system file is not writable (specifically the error occurs in the templates/rt_crystalline_j15/params.ini file).

I attempted to change the permission settings of this file using the FTP manager function in Dreamweaver (CHMOD777). The attempt did not do anything. Do I have to do something on the server or something similar to make this template writable?

I cannot make changes to the template parameters until I can modify the permission settings. Do you have any recommendations? I was unable to find any discussion on the RT_Crystalline forum.
