Joomla XML sitemap using XMAP

Hello,

The URL created by XMAP for my XML sitemap is somewhat crazy (ex: index.php?option=com_xmap&sitemap=1&view=xml).

Have you ever encountered a problem with creating an XML sitemap manually and FTP'ing the XML version to your root domain?
