Hi,

I have an old site we have since 06..its joomla 1.0 and I have not migrated yet. I plan to do so in the near future.

I am developing another site on local host development (wamp) It is Joomla 1.5

I intend to use Joomlapack to bring it over to live server.

As I understand it, this should not be a problem as long as the Joomla 1.5 has its own path...i.e. public_html/new 1.5 site

My questions are:

1. Do I use the 1 click install on bluehost to set up Joomla 1.5 in unique path first? or do I just back it up and move it over to unique path?
2. Do I have to rename the sql databases prior to backing up with joomlapack...prior to moving it...or do I handle the naming of the databases during the extraction?

My goal is to keep my joomla 1.0 databases completely seperate from 1.5 database. any help is appreciated

This doesnt seem that difficult, but if best practices is to create another host account, then I will do that.
