First, I am able to figure out most everything about how, where to change content add items to VM (working on the image sizing, ha). I have ‘set up’ Authorize.net as the payment type. But, I can not run a test transaction. Test mode is set to Yes.

Second, I can’t get my head around shipping. I’ve looked a forums, books, ... I want something like a small % of the cost –maybe with a couple bucks for ‘handling’. I’ll take your advice on this. He (my friend) sells BMX racing products, from complete bikes to shoes, jerseys, parts and such.

Third, I think Rick has an answer to this, though I can’t find it. Basically, I need to make sure the ‘www’ stays in the url at all times or the cart doesn’t work. Messes up a couple other things too.

Hopefully these are all common things you have answered before. I have tried VM, RT and other forums with no real help.

Also, I am using the .htaccess file to limit access to the website. Don't know if this affects any of the above.
