I'm starting a site build and am considering using panels for the first time.

I downloaded what I believe is the Panels 3 module with ctools but am having problems with the teaser aspect of this.

I was hoping to use a panel for the front page and possibly for a variety of other pages -- but I don't want the teaser.

I can't find an option to disable it. Is that not possible?

Also, is there a way to convert existing pages to panels?

And finally, how do you add content like images into panels?
