Our 3rd Birthday Gifts to You

Yep, today is our 3rd birthday. We've been providing open source training since 2007, but we only became a company called Open Source Training on February 1st, 2010. We've come a long way, but rather than look back, we're going focus on the future. We have some gifts for you. Our gifts are four major improvements to your experience at OSTraining: Improvement #1: Over 1000 Sessions
Right now we have 1029 training sessions and we have some ambitious goals for the coming year:
Improvement #2: Quizzes and CertificatesSince 2007, we've given completion certificates to people attending our live classes. We're now going to give completion certificates for everyone taking our online classes too. Each online class will have a series of quizzes that leads to a final exam:  If you pass the exam, you'll get a certificate that looks like the image below. You'll be able to download and print out your certificates. The first quizzes and certificates will be available next week.  Improvement #3: Captions This is one of the most requested features from our members.We've had a lot of members with poor or no hearing capability. It's time for us to add captions to our videos to serve them better. We're going to be rolling out captions in the next few weeks. If you'd like to be one of the first people to use our captions, please send an email to support@ostraining.com. Improvement #4: Video Discussions
We also have a training area with over a thousand videos. However, until now we haven't connected the two. It hasn't been possible to start a discussion about a particular video. We're going to combine our videos and forum so that there will always be a discussion area beneath each video. These video discussions will be available in the next two weeks.
