Extend TinyMCE's Features in Joomla

This tutorial will reveal TinyMCE's hidden gem in Joomla: Extensibility.

Default TinyMCE

Joomla 1.6's default TinyMCE looks plain on the surface, however there's more than meets the eye...

Extended JCE

Go to Extensions >> Plugin-in Manager >> TinyMCE Search >> Editor - TinyMCE

Set Functionality to Extended.

Save & Close.

Say "Hello!" to the not so TinyMCE!

You're welcome Brian! Also, just to clarify this is TinyMCE, which comes with the Joomla. JCE is a 3rd party extensions: extensions.joomla.org/.../88

There is no 'Read More', 'Article' or 'Pagebreak' buttons on my Joomla plug-in? Is there something else I need to do?
The 'Read More' button raised this issue while I was trying to set up a new module!
